THE 2007 FESTIVAL OFFERS.... NEW added GN prize money class which will be the Open Five-Gaited Stake, $5,000 ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Championship, and...Triple Points for USEF Horse of the Year. See below for details on each of these features.

-----We are pleased to announce that the Wisconsin Futurity is going to be a 2007 Triple Point Show for the USEF Horse of the Year Program. This means that any ribbons won in selected classes will earn triple points in the Farnam/Platform USEF Horse of the Year Awards Program. For a complete list of award categories participants should refer to General Rues-Chapter 9 of the USEF Rule Book.

-----Open Five-Gaited Stake will offer $3,000 in additional Grand National prize money. The $3,000 supplements will be paid equally to the Owner, Recorder and Stallion Nominator for each place, as follows: first is $1,500, with $500 to each; second is $1,050, with $350 to each; and third is $450, with $150 to each. -----Announcing....the North Central American Saddlebred Regional Championships will take place at the Wisconsin Futurity Horse Festival! The North Central Region consists of the States of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota and Nebraska. The Regional Championship will be awarded to American Saddlebred horses that are owned (registration papers must show proper ownership) and shown by individuals within this region. A minimum of two riders must participate in the class. The owner of the horse MUST BE a current member of the American Saddlebred Association and a copy of the current card must be presented at the show office. If the card has expired mid-year, it is up to the exhibitor to prove to the horse show office they are current members. The Region Champion will be awarded as Grand National Classes are. In other words if a horse wins the class that is not part of the North Central Region (State of IL), the first horse that is from the region in the placings will be awarded the Region Champion. Only a Champion will be awarded, no other placings. Regional Champions will be awarded in the following classes:

  • Five Gaited Amateur
  • Five Gaited Jr. Exhibitor
  • Three Gaited Open
  • Three Gaited Amateur
  • Three Gaited Jr. Exhibitor
  • Fine Harness Open
  • Fine Harness Amateur

  • Saddle Seat Equitation 17/Under
  • Saddle Seat Equitation 18/Over
  • Pleasure Saddle Seat Equitation 17/Under
  • Show Pleasure Five Gaited
  • Show Pleasure 17/Under

  • Show Pleasure 39/Over
